The Chronicle Returns!
Hola people! After a long hiatus due to illness and personal difficulties on the part of your humble editor, The Chronicle will be returning tomorrow on 4/20, the first anniversary of our official launch, with an all new format.
The fun will start tomorrow morning with The Chronicle’s morning 4/20 Kick-Off Party. We will be providing news on 4/20 events from around the world and we’ll also be sharing tons of cool weed-related songs and videos on our Facebook Page.
After that, our new format will begin on Saturday with a new regular feature for each day of the week.
On Sundays we will feature a new strain review, chronicling the many flavors of everyone’s favorite flower.
On Mondays we’re bringing back our old regular feature The Chronicle’s ‘Douchebag of the Week’ featuring all of the jerks who fight to keep marijuana illegal.
To add some balance to the equation, on Tuesdays we will start a new feature called The Chronicle’s ‘420 Hero of the Week’.
On Wednesdays we’ll be running reviews of stoner literature, including tons of new material from the wonderful Green Candy Press, in a feature called ‘Marijuana Lit’. (Ha ha. It's a pun. Get it?)
On Thursdays we’ll feature a music review. Sure we’ll review Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg and all the other stoner favs, but we’ll also be featuring some stuff that the stoner community may not be aware of, but will hopefully enjoy.
On Fridays we hope to run a guest column from a variety of different folks, but nothing specific has been lined up yet. If you’re interested in writing a guest column, hit us up on our Facebook page!
And finally, on Saturdays (Beginning this Saturday!) we will feature a stoner movie review.
In addition to all of this, we’ll also be running a daily feature, first thing in the morning, called The Daily Buzz which will be a round-up of all the day’s headlines.
We hope you guys enjoy this new format. A great, big thanks and lots of hugs to the 1,207 people that have ‘liked’ The Chronicle on Facebook, our 998 Twitter followers, and every person who has continued to be a dedicated reader throughout all of my lazy ass ‘hiatuses’.
Now, let’s light one up and do this shit!
